The venue was set in the central position close enough to the river, which has breathtaking views and a delicious restaurant. It also was in the heart of the village.

I stayed at the double room with street view. Location: the hotel was close enough to Spain as well as nothing that is n't fried. Also, Castillo Montehano was 2 km away.

The Hotel Rural in Escalante Las Solanas is in a great location for exploring Cantabria. It is conveniently situated near many attractions and the beautiful beaches of Noja and Isla. The hotel also features a children's playground, perfect for keeping the little ones entertained. the free WiFi and digital programming provided entertainment for the whole family.

For dads, it would be great if the hotel offered more facilities for evening food and drink.

We got great value for our money at Hotel Rural En Escalante Las Solanas. The room was clean and the location was perfect, nestled on a quiet street at the edge of town. The owner/operator was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even storing our bicycles for us. Plus, they gave us a lovely dog welcome pack for our furry friend.

The food for breakfast could have been better, with more variety and maybe some healthier options.
